BECKER & POLIAKOFF ATTORNEY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF REGIONAL VOLUNTARY BAR ASSOCIATION

Attorney Tracy A. Mitchell Joins Executive Board of South Florida-based F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association

LAUDERDALE, FL, August 10 – Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., a diversified commercial law firm with more than 130 attorneys in 13 Florida offices, New York City, New Jersey, Nassau, Bahamas, Prague and affiliated international offices, today announced that attorney Tracy A. Mitchell has been elected president of the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association (FMCBA).

The FMCBA is a voluntary bar association whose mission is to promote the personal and professional development of Blacks in the legal profession and to educate its members and the general public in matters pertaining to the law and promote knowledge and understanding of the legal profession. The bar association also cultivates professional ethics and networking opportunities among its members.

The organization meets monthly in Palm Beach county and is active in a variety of community activities, including providing educational programming, raising scholarship funds for law students, and holding community forums.

Ms. Mitchell is an attorney in Becker & Poliakoff’s Ft. Lauderdale office where she counsels community association clients in areas including covenant enforcement, contract and real estate litigation, collections and foreclosure. Additionally, Ms. Mitchell supervises the Fort Lauderdale office's high volume assessment collection and foreclosure department. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and Illinois.
